Poetic Licence to Make It *Badder

In this almost three-year cyber journey, I re-learnt the (HE)art of making new friends. You might have grown up wit'mates from the schooldays going back a decade, two or three.
Desi's pretty n young,it's only travellin' back half.

If you honestly tell the world, you have very few of schoolmates you would call "buddies. But in blogosphere, you win some "buddies" in a shorter time. Because in reading someone's writes, you either connect -- call it having chemistry if you will -- and soon you interact more, and become "buddies" (as flower blooms from a bud) or you don't, so you move on. Please note that I am bolding (THUS) many words I have been using a special licence, or put bluntly, abusing of the Queen's English, because if you can't be a king of the language, try to be a Raja Rojak and earn yourself a mention in that book of records that Malaysians are known the world over four! (4 as in four corners of the world when it's still believed by many locals here that the world is indeed flat, beating Thomas Friedman to his claim, nyet, except the smart Americano newsdog became a millionaire putting thoughts to words). The Bard and others like Wordsworth, Lord Tennyson, Ehrmann and the Brownings used it as POETIC LICENCE,and Desi is an imitator. As they say, Imitation is the best form of flattery.

Earlier this week, I had used the word *badder in a jestfool way, teasing my EsteemedReaders ("Hear cometh ER,make way, we have an accident case!".

Example: on ++wedNURSEday, "I sent the following Email to the Director of MC late evening yesterday (hey, see this Journalist works for thee, my dear ER, free and on overtime. Can you spare me a dime for tehtarik then, buddy? *Badder steal, write Desi a cheque for 20million!

*This is part of Da Desi Code, come back on Sunday to know aMore:)"

Xmas ChallengiA: Can a smartaleck ER tell why the hell this hoRst keeps spelling this ++third day of the week this way?
Goode answerer gets an autographed kopi of "Midnight Voices and Other Poems" -- but you need to seek Desi out at hazey, mazey, crazey Furong, K, OK or KO!

I had meant to take Blogging as a fun-D activity, plucking off fellow Bloggers' gems off their gard'nern(Primroses, in Supreme Gardnern yaeh yah yeah?) in the steal of the night, in line with my belief that goode writings must be universally shared.

A late bloomer at Desi's Place who called himself Moses FooL minus the L -- because not everyday is April 1st, and I don't think his Mum still serves him Everydae milk! -- had chickily asked Desi to draw up a Grocery list describing my chai tan of DDC(Da Desi Code -- go aRskE da hoRst of allofhelen.blogspot.comto explain this nomenclature!). In DDC, it should read aweofhelen, but then you'd be led to a deadend, and that would make your Sundae prety wickedwan.

So how to justify using *badder in place of better as the comparative form of good?

Don't you remember?
"Those schoolgirl days
of telling tales and biting nails are gone
..."

Good; better; best
Small; smaller; smallest
Pretty; Prettier; prettiest

OR Pretty; More pretty, Most pretty

Hey,Jude or Judy, but no, for heaven's sake! (Why shouldn't it be For hell's sake?), No

Unique; More unique; Most unique

Certain words like unique, priceless, supreme, almighty ... already have the "superlative" quality, so need no more qualifier.

And if you should ask Desi WHY, please seek this saiko (I emerged just half-a-decade earlier from the womb, remember!) -- JeffOoi is the tailo! -- at Men Kee from 8.00-10.00am and buy him CON BF!

And if you need to ask what is CON BF hear, stand in that church corner/korner at aweofhelen's church in Ipoh!:) OR Get outa of hear!

After a Long and Winding Road, VVe recall one of my favourite
youthful anthems, which willplease NSTman no end, and I think expyred minus da d,
who once invited Howsy
and Desi to join him at the Yellow Submarine. It looked a little pinkish due to the changing seasons of London streets -- blowin' hot and cold! -- so VVe brought along a new coat of Royal colour paint borrowed from BERSIH.

Hey Jude
Lyrics
Artist(Band):The Beatles

Hey Jude don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it *badder (better)

Hey Jude don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it *badder (better)

And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Na na na na na
na na na na

Hey Jude don't let me down
You have found her now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it *badder (better)

So let it out and let it in
Hey Jude begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you
Hey Jude you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder

Na na na na na
na na na na Yeah

Hey Jude don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it )badder (better)
Remember to let her under your skin
Then you'll begin to make it )badder (better)
*****Badder, badder, badder, badder, badder,
(Better, better, better, better, better,) Yeah,Yeah,Yeah

Da da da da da da da
Da da da da, Hey, Jude
Da da da da da da da
Da da da da, Hey, Jude
Da da da da da da da
Da da da da, Hey, Jude

DESIDERATA: If you grab hold of the original single (I have one, for aucton at reserved price of 20million,and listen properly, the Beatles really (believe Desi-lah, for once!) sang it as *Badder all the way. Of course "better" within brackets above are the original wordings, I'm just demonstrating a point, hear!) Me and a few mates during Chinoserie New Year would go karaoke, and belt out the chorus like the night will never end. It will only get badder, bader, badder. Awesome.

So if you can't be a Shakespeare clone like Desi, saying of Brutus' fatal dagger stab into Caesar's chest on the +Ides of March -- "the most unkindest cut of all" -- writHing poems for a mousey living, use the Poetic Licence in your Blog-lah. It's Awesome. Then you may get a request from Moses Foo, no ale!, to 'rite out another Glossary. That's a Hi-Tribute, but DDC is already copy-lefted with the Trademarks Office, K!

+ By the way (BTW among Bloggers, which I thought stood for Between the Two of Us when I started at kindie:), Ides of March is the 15th day of the third month in the ....... calendar, also Desi's Place birddie. Remember to send me GreAtings plus that check, right! Or what's left.

MERRY and BLESSED CHRISTMAS everyone
Count your blessings and remember me
to ta pau some turkey for Desi
Too pricey? Roast lamb also can-wan

PS: In the spirit of Yuletide, I say adieu till Boxing Day -- coming back from YouTube's sweet and goodwill reminiscences -- with another Beatles' memorable >>>>>>>

All you need is love

The Beatles

Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time
It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

"All You Need Is Love" is a song written by John Lennon with contribution from Paul McCartney[1] and credited to Lennon/McCartney. It was first performed by The Beatles on Our World, the first ever live global television link. Broadcast to 26 countries and watched by 350 million people, the programme was broadcast via satellite on June 25, 1967. The BBC had commissioned The Beatles to write a song for the UK's contribution and this was the result. It is among the most famous and significant songs performed by the group.

Hi Desi
I have lyrics to share with thee :)

Footprints in the sand

You walked with me
Footprints in the sand
And helped me understand
Where I’m going
You walked with me
When I was all alone
With so much ,I no along the way
Then I heard you say

I promise you
I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
I’ll carry you
When you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand

I see my life
Flash across the sky
So many times have I
Been so afraid ooh
And just when I
Have thought I’ve lost my way

You give me strength to carry on
That’s when I heard you say

I promise you
I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
I’ll carry you
When you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand

When I’m weary
Well I no you’ll be there
And I can feel you
When you say

I promise you
I’m always there
When your heart is full of sadness and despair
I’ll carry you
When you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand x 2
oooooo mmmmmm

Desi

There was an Ides of March. It was full of blades and crimson passions. Another Ides of March to come next year?

Lord Tennyson, who is he?
Wordsworth, never heard of him.
Beatles? Ah! That is another story.

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na...
