A Prayer for my Esteemed PM ...

This Thursday -- when a Child born today has far to go -- life in Malaysia seems full of uncertainties and hurdles; nay, many unneccesary mines hidden on their way to-and-from hoime and office.

This mo(U)rning again I was greeted -- no, not greeted, bannered with -- this headline in
The Star frontpage:

Move to suspend
Cabinet wants tough action against Sarawak Tribune

I open with the post's title straight with an
APPEAL TO OUR ESTEEMED PM PAK LAH

"Please act with wisdom
Please protect our freedom
From want, from uncertainty
From the Devil may be
Lurking under covers of concern
W'ile the bereast beats vengeance

O Lord, however each Malaysian deems Him to be
Protect us from Wolves in Sheep's Clothing
Wherever they roam
In the workplace
In dark nooks and crannies
In Darkness, or committing
Daylite Robbery

I've tasted some
All Malaysians have tasted some
Periods of UNemployment
And it's no heavenly ride

As you ponder a decision
Think of some 300 fellow Malaysians
Their future lies in thy hand
Most esteemed PM,
Let my esteem remain
You retaineth
With God's blessings..."

"O believers, void not your freewill offerings with reproach and injury, as one who expends of his substance to show off to men and believes not in God and the Last Day. The likeness of him is as the likeness of a smooth rock on which is soil, and a torrent smites it, and leaves it barren. They have no power over anything that they have earned. God guides not the people of the unbelievers"

Islam. Qur'an 2.264

It is extemely difficult to reconcile God fearing/loving men with their evil actions. One wonders who or what is controlling their conscience.

It is alright to peacefully protest/complain/object whatever about some insults to one's faith, but to hurt the livelihood of hundreds of innocent people in the name of "justice" is hypocritcal, preposterous, and evil. Are they implying they have never made any mistakes? It's bad enough to have the night editor out of a job, yet that seems insufficient to satify their thirst of more blood - and over what? - to show their religious or political piety? Or do they think they're so significant that God spoke to them to seek vengeance? Isn't the act of forgiving and charity more meaningful and appealing in the sight of God?

According to the Gospel of John, the Pharisees, in an attempt to discredit Jesus, brought a woman charged with adultery before him. Then they reminded Jesus that adultery was punishable by stoning under Mosaic law and challenged him to judge the woman so that they might then accuse him of disobeying the law. Jesus thought for a moment and then replied, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.” The people crowded around him were so touched by their own consciences that they departed.

Let's pray that those innocent and newly unemployed ex-staff will find solace in His mercy; and they can find the Spirit in their hearts to move on with new jobs soon.

My pleas to those seeking innocent blood --

Judge not others unfairly lest thou be similarly judged;
Violate not by thy actions to profane His good name;
Profess not thou act in His name,
For thou art making a hypocrite of thyself;
Descecrate not His spiritual presence in the innocent;
Cause not others to suffer thy iniquities,
For thou shall be repaid thousand times over,
In eternal damnation at the lowest pit in Hell,
Created for Satan and his dark angels.
