(3) etc, etc until you come full circle after WASTING precious minutes and getting nowhere.

As they say: BACK TO SQUARE ONE.

Yes, the infamous: ONE-STOP CENTRE.

...and WEBSITES that turn into COBWEBS just months after Grand Fanfare Launch.

But maybe Patient Readers should wait with bated breath for this one -- they have magabucks (into Billions) in their kitty.
Just hope that our children's generation in one decade or two don't get to see White Elephants, More Bank Bailouts, and yes, aMore COBWEBS.

a jiffy at IDR

Building plans to be processed online


MUAR: All building development and design plans within the Iskandar Development Region (IDR) in south Johor will soon be processed and approved online.

Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said the move was aimed at shortening the approval time for buildings and their designs in IDR from several months to about one month.

Speaking to reporters here, he said an approval and implementation committee had also been set up to manage all building and design applications submitted for the IDR.

“We have set up the special committee, which acts like a one-stop-centre, to speed up the decision making in development matters within the region.

“All the relevant authorities, including the Land Office, local government authority, Department of Environment, Fire Department and others will process every application online at the same time,” he said yesterday.

He added that after the building plans and designs had been processed and considered for approval by the related authorities, they would be submitted to the state executive council for approval.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is expected to launch the online system soon and there are plans to create a website for it.
