POST-GE13 PROTESTS -- Beware the ENEMY from WITHIN!

Desi has been somewhat COMPREHENSIVE about the role of NGOs/civil society activists in the just ended GE13 as well as NOW WITH SEVERAL POST-GE13 RALLIES HELD BY PAKATAN RAKYAT to protest fraud cthey believed was committed ON A LARGE SCALE BY BN/UMNO TO "STEAL" THE ELECTIONS>

I have had in my PKR-cum-blogger activist outings "acquainted" with some INDIVIDUALS wh first appeared as REFORMASI fighters. But as years went by, many of these so-called FOR CHANGE/UBAH activists through their INCONSISTENT stands betrayed/betray their true selves. I particularly had a bad experince with that famous Blogger-in-exile in UK I had called a LIAR and a COWAD. I strill think he is one.

WHAT CONCERNS me now is that a few of RPK's former mates are wearing different NGO hat-BUT MY LINGERING SUSPICION REMAINS: who are they frontinmg for.

Let me state upfront is this socalled MCLM co-founder HARRIS IBRAHIM, who some two years after many of us bloggers have stripped RPK bare and showed his true colours/skins, BELATEDLY DISSOCIATED with the coward-in-exile. I see highly SHADY MOVES rom the way he would HIJACK NGOs started by others for his own "self-claimed crusade of MEN OF INTEGRITY"!

At this juncture, I hope CONCERNED REFORMISTS, especially the Y&A, would not be MISLED into TRAPS these "enemies from within"/ agents provocatuer would set up to sabotage the sincere Malaysian figfhters for CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT. I urge that PR leaders pay special heed about such NGO activists who could be WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING!

From Julius Caesar, Desi adapts such laments marking the death of Caesar: by localising "Et tu, Brute?" to Et tu, H Ib?

Anwar says no street protest, but insists on more rallies

BY SYED JAYMAL ZAHIID

Anwar said the call such street protests came from outside of PR parties. — Reuters picPETALING JAYA, May 15 ― Pakatan Rakyat (PR) today distanced itself from calls for street protests to overturn the results of Election 2013, with Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim saying the pact will stick to indoor rallies to “voice their disgust” at alleged electoral fraud in the May 5 polls.
Anwar said calls for a mass street protest to oust the elected Barisan Nasional (BN) administration did not originate from PR but from affiliated non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
“These are just suggestions and it was never raised to the leadership and it is not something that is adopted by leadership,” he told a press conference after chairing a PR presidential council meeting here.
Several activists were reported suggesting mass street protests to remove BN from power, alleging that the coalition had won Election 2013 fraudulently.
Among them was Hishammuddin Rais, a steering committee member of poll reforms group Bersih.
The left-leaning leader was reported to have told a forum on Monday that street demonstrations was the best recourse to affect a change in government, claiming that attempts to challenge the election results through legal channels would be futile.
PR has repeatedly alleged that Election 2013 was marred with widespread electoral fraud.

DESIDERATA: I will go back into my archives -- TOMORROW CUN? -- to show WHY Haris Ibrahim CANNOT BE TRUSTED and that HE HAD BEEN SHOWN TO BE WRITING ABOUT BERSIH RALLIES in which HE SHOWED MORE SUPPORT FOR THE FRU FIRING TEAR GAS AND WATER CANNON AT THE DEMONSTRATORS BY HIGHLIGHTING MP FOR BATU TIAN CHUA'S CHALLENGING THE PDRM.

I AM SORRY I HAVE TO RAISE THIS "RED FLAG" ABOUT THIS SO CALLED LEADER OF MEN OF INTEGRITY in whose blog he preached BOYCOTT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA, but he and cohort RPK NEVER HESITATED TO USE THE MSM like THE STAR and TV3 for their own benefits!

God, oh God, save and protecxt us from these IMPOSTERS!  Amen, YL, Desi
