Desi has planned to go for R&R, but the gods Wouldn't Allow it...

For now at least. A HISTORIC GATHERING LAST/LUST NIGHT IN KL/PJ DEMANDED AT LEAST A JOURNAL ENTRY. So borrowing from greenboc.blogspot.com:)~~~~~

GAMBAR] 120K Berhimpun: Najib, SPR & BN Tiada Pilihan Kecuali Akui Penipuan PRU13!

Akhabar online, Malaysiakini menganggarkan 120,000 orang hadir di dalam perhimpunan "Pidato Suara Rakyat Suara Keramat - TOLAK PENIPUAN PRU13" yang diadakan malam tadi, satu perhimpunan terbesar Pakatan Rakyat berbanding perhimpunan-perhimpunan lain mutakhir ini.

Kesesakan lalulintas dari Kelana Jaya sehingga sejauh tol NPE berhampiran Sunway. Menurut Peta Trafik Google, seluruh Petaling Jaya mengalami kesesakan.

Beliau turut mengecam tajuk utama Utusan Malaysia semalam "Apa lagi Cina mahu?".

"Mereka berhak mendapatkannya kerana kita, Pakatan, menang undi popular," katanya.

DESIDERATA: The dawn of the INTERNET opened up many eyes, including Malaysians -- and the resultant Tsunami at GE12 five years ago on March 8, referred popularly to as "308", showed that the MSM doesn't rule the airwaves anymore. The new media has contnued to imapct on the public more and more, and even Senior Citizens now realise that there is MUCH MORE THAN WHAT  TRADITIONALLY GREETS THEM AT BF -- the NST, The Star, Berita Harian and the BF spoiler Utusan Malaysia. I won't include the Chinese press here as I don't monitor them regularly, though my pilitikus kaki tell me they are "slightly better off". Maybe it's due to the COMPETITION and less attention paid them by the BN establishment.

I would have joined the 120,000 brave souls who attended the Post GE13 RALLY but I stay in Furong and I couldn't get the tycoons that Tengku Adnan Mansor know by heart to fly in there/dare in an executive jet. It looks certain that there is increased and still growing awareness among the public that there is NOTHING TO FEAR despite the fear tactics of the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.

I believe the message of the following poem/quote attributed to NIERMOLLER has taken deep roots and many among MALAYSIANS have answered the call to ACTION. I salute ye, fellow bros&sis, across age, colour, race and creed! Just reprising:

from Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power:
“First they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.”
