Ever since Man left the Garden of Eden, he -- and his Mate2, She ? -- has been trying very hard to get back to that elusive garden on earth. Desiderata calls this search THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, which had been well expounded by writers and philosophers through the ages.

When I started this Blog exactly a year ago, my intention was to first expand my own writing horizon. But I am always one proud to go about the things I do the Scientific Method. Hence, I often tell my Y&A visitors to give Da Rationale, mousey-one also can! :)

I approach my Posts like an everyday experiment on glimpses of LIFE, zeroed in via my three broad objectives of:
* Desiderata.Civil Society
* Desiderata.Truth
* Desiderata.English.

Desiderata.English won me my first mGf via Blogsworld, with a "delighted ", in her own word, fan, yan, from nigh-Catsville, I often teAse her. Yes, I assured this maiden visitor from yan's corner - in touch that if there remaineth jest ONE VISITOR to desiderata-ylchong, this scribe would go on Posting. I know ssssspirit is always the hi-spiriteD voyager to Desi's Place too, hence the game to nama that idealistic OUR I-LAND.

If anyone thinks Blogging is not profiteering, oopoops, profitable, Desi says Thy art wlong!
From my second month, I began to earn some moola from writing for Borneo Post, plagiarising some unpolished gems from Desiderata.English! Is that the rite word -- steAling blooms from one's own work, varnished with some flowers from my neighbour's?

Ne'er mind-lah somedays I could not deliver -- it's okay to take a hiatus some times, as I tell fellow Bloggers: Take a break, Yes, go breAk a leg, Not two-lah!
I seldom venture into Religion, God and Death unless absolutely necessary because I truly feel unequipped. But sometimes I like to join my philosopher writer friends like Voltaire, Thoreau and Descartes to try to fathom What's Truth? Tied closely with such adventures is the quest for that elusive thing called Happiness. Perhaps Love.
In recent months, I had adapted Sunday's desiderata.english rumination to INTER:LUDE as I had to go on a hiatus on Desiderata.English which really had taxed Desi's small mind a 'ite too much. Getting exhasuted, so it's a getaway to mGf blogs to "steal" some GEMS, BLOOMS, and NUTGIFTS?, whatever.

I ran a ChallengiA lust weak for my ER to gas what's up coming wedNURSEdae?
ANSWER: Voila! Wella! desiderata-ylchong has a new look.
My quest continues -- for Happiness, Truth and Friendship, at My Blue Heaven...
