An Odd Ode to Blogosphere

This morning I woke up quite disturbed – souled out, maybe I did not have enough of Haridas’ tehtarik! -- after a “leisure tour” of some fellow travellers’ abodes in blogosphere on Friday’s evening before the dark of night descended to keep a veil of misty calm for a TGIF night. A few jottings at two weblogs Instigated -- the Aussies use this word, I dunno why, Sweets and Sabrina, please give the Rat-ionale -- but the right word by Desi is “Motivated”, this li’l attempt on Da Funny Ode:(

One blog had a comment on the winner of Malaysian Idol 2, flaming him, but I saw no GOoD Rat-ionale, just that Daniel Lee couldn’t sing, and that he was better at singing Chinese songs. I wondered allowed if we were watching the same Idol finale; I saw or heard no "chinoserie" words, sung or said. Furthermore, DannyBoy's delivery of Heaven Knows delivered Desi of all his woes.

The other blog had Desi ditto-ing one other EsteemedReader’s Comment on Rafidah’s exchange with Sdr Lim Kit Siang that “flightening” day when one challenged the other to "Go jump in the lake” and that nobody should usurp the PM's prerogative in appointing her as Minister; the Other responded via his blog the followindg day (?), reported mGf Howsy, confirmed by Desi’s own frightening peep, that he won’t ask the challenger to jump off the world’s Tallest Twin Towers in da, ‘hole, wilde world. But some other reader "put words" in my mouth that I had not said:(

Just to whet your appetite, join mGf from Catsville, behave like da animal with 9 lives and do a search (CHALLENGIA BLOGSWORLD!) and see if you can quote day and name of posts the two refer to. No need Rat-ionale for this one.

DEADLINE: 11PM, TODAY as I’ll reproduce the relevant sections for you to 4!

PRIZE:
You doeth what this bloody blogger asks thee,
And that’s sufficient reward, can’t you see?:)
Off course, da last question is a non-negative rhetorical one!:(

A Dedication to Blogosphere

I am trying to fly
With verses on the sly
I sumtimes borrow the Bard’s style
To put on myGoodfriends’ fa’ces a blooming s-mile

This world can be big and nasty
Should you be all alone
It doesn’t help when words become testy
They damp thy spirits, chill thee to the bone

So why bother to read blogs at all?
I say Plenty – reasons short or TALL.
MgF Yan says people come in all shapes and sizes
Like sumtimes fighting tooth&nail for (s)he-Art prizes

Still, Desi staels some peeps, p-e-e-ks like a voyeur be
OtherWise, how can I post today like a loyar buluk for to see
But from ALL BLOGGERS I do learn
From the positive vibrators I’ll yearn

If Rafidah Aziz says to Lim Kit Siang
Go jump in Da Lake
I salute her for the repartee
She answers to Her Boss, not Opposition Leader lang
So we get wisecracks for free

If poor Malaysians can’t enter that August House
Sorry you miss’d the boat, it’s now October
But yoy steal can be a lion or a mouse
Join blogosphere, when if or why you don’t have to remember

No one elected me, you Yan, or Sabrina, Kyels, Sweets
or Howsy, Imran, Mito-C (plus others, too many to mention, maaf ia!:)and Primrose
The only style is decided by the cyberhomer-and-writer and guests,
I mostly ramble on -- abusing alos the luxury to DIGRESS!:)in verse or prose
We can ‘rite anything and rant and rave for hours
No one can ask a Thinking Blogger to jump off the Petronas Twin Towers

There's always the Go'd, Bad and Ugly
But they all teach you a lesson or two
If as a reader the Blogger seems to be flaming thee
Press the mouse, presto! the flame is outof Da Window

A saying says it's better be silent that no one thinks thee a fool
Than to open the Big Gap and no one thinks it not so
Yes, there are angel fish and lilies in the pool
But in Da Lake, crocodiles so man and womanlike too

It’s only wordplay
But be that as it May
Treat thy Readers with respect
Just as esteem a writer’d expect

Bearing in mind for Desi
Voltaire’s abiding philosophy:
I may not agree with what you say
but I will defend, to the death,
your right to say it
.”

POSTHASTE:
MINUTES fter posting up Da Funny Ode, I received this from mGf Down Under -- SweetSpirit is her name and sould -- for the caring&sharing, just to lift our spirits for a GOoD&WickedWeekend:)

Enhancing Relationships .......

TRUST

TRUST is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is
broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to
suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity
may result in separation.

A telephone operator told me that one day she received a phone call.
She answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She
repeated, "PUB." There was still no answer. When she was going to
cut off the line, she heard a lady's voice, "Oh, so this is PUB.
Sorry, I got the number from my Husband's pocket but I do not know whose
number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what will happen to the couple if
the telephone operator answered with just "hello" instead of "PUB".

(Acknowledged receipt with THANKS from Sweets Saturday morn, brightened up and shone ...:) because in Blogosphere there's so much to learn, and not forgetiing, WE CARE & SHARE! >>>>>>>---------------------------------------------------------------------------- unto infinity and eternity >>>>>>>

Good afternoon Desi
Trust is a biggie i am one who lacks trusting others tsk tsk and i must say ,i've learnt the hard way by not trusting ppl .But in truth i only need to put trust in a few ppl now days after all trust is something to be earned it is not something a person can buy so it value to me is very high. But im glad i've found a friend in you :) that i trust.

The Ode is motivated by all my blogsworld traveller companions -- I'm always reminded by Sab's analogy of we being passengers on the same train -- some drop off at the next station, some go on together to our final destiNATION!:)
