Sodomy charges levied against his ex-deputy, Dr M is now preaching to the West, especially accusing the mothers of waywardness...

Sleeping around, every one other of the American mothers? REALLY, good doctor around the American hose?

Dr M, may Desihumbly ask: do you have any evidence on the observations about the American mothers as reported by the Malaysian Insider? Or the evidence is also of that level used against DS Anwar Ibrahim who in fact was targeted because he refused to go along with your premier efforts to "bail out" your ailing son's BIG business, no, in the wake of the Asian financial crisis?

DEAR FELLOW MALYSIANS, IF you believe your former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who plunged this nation's (especially Malay) politics to the gutter level by charging his then (1998) just sacked Deputy PM with "SODOMY" charges -- you would think the American women are alike the "binatang", sleeping freely with any Tom, DICK and Hairy! Frankly, as a Malaysians I hold him responsible for debasing local politics to a level where the privayte lives behind closed doors of individuals are being invaded incessantly -- all in the name of a higher morality of the rulers in power?

I seldom write about anything touchingon RELIGIOUS SENSITIVITIES, especially from a vantage point where oneself projects onese'f and one's religion as SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHERS'!

I think the "overblown" reaction of this one 13-minute movie running down Islam by ONE INDIVIDUAL AMERICAN**** -- A Sam, imBECILE? -- does not justify an attack that a former PM could stoop so low to punch at innocent mothers, be they from Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom or whatever kingdom! (The highlighted portion (BOLDED THUS) -- gifted 4stars by Desi, sei-loh! -- in the following MI report is done by Desi who is solely responsible for this commentary too, OK! Don't run amuck-lah and threaten my neighbours over my views, cun-OR-knot?!)

One of the sanest voices from the Islamic world came from the Turkish president Erdogan -- sorry I didn't save that news report, so I can't put it up here and now. Ms Patience can -- it is also Ms Virtuous, no?

Dr M says American mothers are promiscuous in attack against US free speech

By Clara Chooi September 18, 2012
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad suggested today that American mothers “sleep around with just about anybody” when he attacked the United States for defending free speech while PKR warned governments against exploiting Muslim anger to restrict freedoms as protests continued to spread across the Muslim world over a controversial film mocking the Prophet Muhammad.

Malaysia’s outspoken former prime minister said the West’s idea of freedom of expression as being a part of human rights was one that may not be accepted in the cultures of Asians or Muslims worldwide.

In contrast, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali said in a separate statement that “dictatorial regimes” should not exploit the anger of Muslims to curtail freedoms.

“Those who blame freedoms for the production of the film are leaders who are anti-democratic and anti-freedom of the people, and are exploiting the anger of the people to reduce democratic space for political purposes,” he said.

Dr Mahathir (picture) was unrelenting, however, in his attack against the US which has officially condemned the film.

“It would seem that the liberal West believes that free speech is licence to curse and insult other people without limit. I think Western values have gone crazy,” the now-retired Dr Mahathir wrote in his blog today.

“How would one feel if someone comes up to you and calls you ‘a bastard, the offspring of sex between your mother and some man who is not your legally wedded father’?”

“The Americans would feel nothing because in their society this is normal. Their mothers sleep around with just about anybody,” said the controversial political veteran.

Such a practice would be considered a norm in an American society, he said, adding that apart from American mothers, fathers behave much the same way.

“It is an expression of the equality of the sexes,” he said.

Dr Mahathir was railing against US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whom he said had appeared to defend the maker of the film when the latter was quoted in the media as saying, “We do not stop individual citizens from expressing their views, no matter how distasteful they may be.”

US embassies worldwide have been placed on high alert following protests against the controversial video, which have even led to the death of a US ambassador and three other Americans last week during a protest at its consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.

Protests have spread to other countries across the Muslim world, and have also reached Malaysian shores, uniting Muslims here from across the political divide in their bid to express their unhappiness at the US for the film.

The youth wing of Malaysia’s largest Muslim party Umno will be organising a mass protest after Friday prayers this week, while last week’s global protests were also joined by Islamist party PAS.

In a statement here, PAS’s ally PKR said the film was likely made with the deliberate intention to destroy world peace and spread “Islamophobia” among the non-Muslims of the world.

“PKR urges the US to take full and immediate responsibility to condemn this criminal act and take proactive measures to maintain world peace and destroy this false perception against the Muslims,” said the party’s deputy president Azmin Ali today.

But noting that the anti-American anger in the Muslim world has continued unabated for days now, even resulting in protests leading to deaths, the lawmaker said he hoped there would not be any exploitation of Muslim anger over the matter.

The crudely made 13-minute English-language film, shot in California and circulated on the internet under several titles including “Innocence of Muslims”, mocks the Prophet Mohammad.

Clips of the film posted on the internet since July have been attributed to a man by the name of ****Sam Bacile, which two people linked to the film have said was likely an alias.

For many Muslims, any depiction of the Prophet is blasphemous. Caricatures deemed insulting in the past have provoked protests and drawn condemnations from officials, preachers, ordinary Muslims and many Christians.

Reuters news agency has reported that a California man convicted of bank fraud was taken in for questioning on Saturday by officers investigating possible probation violations stemming from the making of the video clip.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, voluntarily left his home in the early hours of Saturday morning for the meeting at a sheriff’s station in the Los Angeles suburb of Cerritos.

Nakoula, who has denied involvement in the film in a phone call to his Coptic Christian bishop, was ushered out of his home and into a waiting car by several sheriff’s deputies, his face shielded by a scarf, hat and sunglasses.

Turkey's Erdogan: "Islamophobia" should be recognized as a crime against humanity
The West should be filled this week with politicians speaking up in defense of the freedom of speech. No such luck. Its days are numbered. "PM Erdoğan: Islamophobia should be recognized as crime against humanity," by Mustafa Ünal in Today's Zaman, September 16:

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that Turkey recognizes anti-semitism as a crime, while not a single Western country recognizes Islamophobia as such.
Speaking to journalists in Sarajevo after a series of visits to Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Erdoğan commented on the 14-minute trailer for "Innocence of Muslims," an obscure film that mocks the Prophet Muhammad, which sparked violent riots across various Muslim nations.

Erdoğan said he will talk about the movie that has angered Muslims on Sept. 25 at the UN General Assembly. He noted that the reaction against the movie in Turkey has been restrained. “In the last past 10 years, extremes [in Turkey] have been curbed. In a way, we acted like a lightning rod.”

He said the Turkish government has made its statement on the movie, giving messages in Yalta, and later during his visit. He said reactions against the movie continued and increased, noting statements from Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi, who defined the movie as an “aggression on Islam,” has played a role in this.

Erdoğan said he will continue to give messages at the next UN General Assembly meeting about adopting international legislation against insulting religion. “I am the prime minister of a nation, of which most are Muslims and that has declared anti-semitism a crime against humanity. But the West hasn’t recognized Islamophobia as a crime against humanity -- it has encouraged it. [The film director] is saying he did this to provoke the fundamentalists among Muslims. When it is in the form of a provocation, there should be international legal regulations against attacks on what people deem sacred, on religion. As much as it is possible to adopt international regulations, it should be possible to do something in terms of domestic law.”

He further noted, “Freedom of thought and belief ends where the freedom of thought and belief of others start. You can say anything about your thoughts and beliefs, but you will have to stop when you are at the border of others’ freedoms. I was able to include Islamophobia as a hate crime in the final statement of an international meeting in Warsaw.”

Erdoğan said the government will immediately start working on legislation against blasphemous and offensive remarks. “Turkey could be a leading example for the rest of the world on this.”...

In response to a question on whether relations with Israel seem to be normalizing, Erdoğan said, “Israel has not found itself a good position in the eyes of the Islamic world. They are also not making any effort to start a normalization process.”

In other words, they're not surrendering to the jihad.

He said Israel only has ties with Turkey and should make an effort to maintain good relations. Erdoğan said the Israeli government had sent him a businessman who will act as a go-between, but did not name this person. He said he’d told this person -- who he said is the richest Jewish businessman in the world -- that Turkey has three conditions for normalization, which are an official apology to Turkey for a May 2010 attack on a Turkish passenger ship bringing aid to Gaza, paying compensation for the attack that left nine Turkish citizens dead and ending the blockade of Gaza.
Erdoğan said he was hopeful about a recent initiative launched by Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, whereby the foreign ministers of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey will be meeting this week.

Did these women sleep around, Dr? — Ice Cream Seller

September 18, 2012
SEPT 18 — Let’s get straight to the point.

Are you suggesting that the mothers of the following Americans slept around?

1) B Obama

2) George Bush — Senior & Junior

3) Hillary Clinton

4) Neil Armstrong

6) Muhammad Ali

7) Bill Gates

8) Henry Kissinger

9) Billy Graham

10) Steve Jobs

Presumably, their mothers cannot light a candle to our Malaysian women of virtue — such as mothers who throw their newborns out of the balcony, mothers who flush their newborns down the toilet, mothers who stuff their newborns in bags and abandon them in drains and on road kerbs.
