A season, A reason, A Lifetime
I have met people and made friends who are a reason and a season...
For me to my friends whom I fortunately have met and made, I wish that I am not a reason, and I will not be a season, but lifetime genuine friendship.
For the only one, I believe that I will certainly be more than a lifetime for him and me.

A Reluctant Lament in May!
May 13, 1969 -- do we remember?
Countless Malaysians shed their blood
Life's fabric is oft strong, yet tender
Can withstand the elements even in a flood
But man's foul mood, tearing all asunder
I want to make this my motherland
Many of mGf chorus in similar trend
But ill mouths and ill minds
They can't see our love
Sight closeted within their racial blinds
Some slog to get by with two jobs
Others born into privilege behave ike mobs
Ninety percent of us shed
Blood, sweat and tears
That the other 10 percent
gallicant in wine, women and bed
They then question our loyalty
Meanwhile they reap the oil royalty
We dutifully pay our taxes
Meanwhile they squander in madness
Monuments are built to meet the sky
They see gods and goddeses on high
Wrapped around karaoke lasses' bosoms
Behold, lo and hi
At the slightest sign of trouble
To safer havens they and lovers flee
Meanwhile they yam seng in glee
They ask: Why art thou overseas?
Come back to serve your Motherland
Meanwhile, they who stay, they smother
Oh Mum's the Word
The majority lament
Why bother?
Mei also forwarded a Nutgift to share for this weekend, ENJOY but don't be 2WICKED! (like Howsy, painting the town Red, Commie-stylo! I'm not joing him, I'm socialist, remember? CON BF tomorrow, if some enriched mate in the Forong Maze would burrow...

The Difference between Rich and Poor People
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took
his son on a trip to the country with the express
purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm
of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked
his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father
asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?"
asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our
garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they
have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have
the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they
have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve
others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us,
they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how
poor we are."
~~~~~~~~
DESIDERATA: THanks Mei, and I join her in thinking allowed: Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you
wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for
everything we have, instead of worrying about what
we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially
your friends!
Don't stop o.k., keep on blogging (and remember to leave comments in my blog also :P).
I'm thankful I'm able to appreciate. Many out there don't know how... I've only met friends who were a season and for some reasons but never a lifetime - YET. :)
Haha.
Well, I was having a conversation with my ex this evening. For a season or for a reason, it was all fun, no? Even if it was not, still a great experience (and the more wiser to the ones you choose to befriend with next time).
After all, we only have one life and we should live it.
(And because I wasn't thinking, I booked myself an adventure voucher just now! Argh. Then I realised I have another voucher I forgot to use. Double Argh!)
