Congrats -- forget about the -media-proclaimed youngest billionaire at age 27 and the media-promoted second most influential Malaysian at age 28 as role models for Malaysian youth to emulate. Give me more Nic and Tim anytime!
QTake 2: Not happy to anticipate that all members of Parliament and legislative office holders are soon geting a 10 percent remuneration rise, with an amendment Act moved by Minister in the PM's Dept Datuk Nazri Abdul Aziz yesterday. General feedback that local wages are being depressed by thousands of foreign workers, both legal and illegal, and the Government wants to import more, and the number of unemployed graduates numbering 80,000 or 18,000, depending on definitions!
QTake 3: Happy to anticipate that guidelines for film censorship will be relaxed to keep up with the times, with new PG13 rating to allow children to watch the films if accompanied by parents/guardians. We rejoice with Sepet director Yasmin Ahmad and other innovative and daring to vemture where angels fear to roam-type film-makers!
QTake 4: Not happy to unwelcome public transportantion fares going up by between 0.9sen and 12sen a kilometre, come May 1. Spoil my anticipated May Day celebrations, (no) thanks to the "caring" Government!
