GE-13: Who is really behind the UMNO’s Pasir Mas Charade?

UMNO’s eleventh hour decision to pull out of the Pasir Mas race has dealt another blow to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak’s 1Malaysia slogan. By doing so, UMNO has paved the way for PERKASA President Ibrahim Ali to defend his seat in a straight fight with Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz, the son of PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat.
TUN DR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD
Prior to this, UMNO had named its Pasir Mas division deputy chief Che Johan Che Pa as the candidate. But Che Johan, who was present at the nomination centre this morning, did not file his papers.

DESI: The voters must wake up to be able to see through UMNO's endorsement of a bigot of a racist in Perkosa chief. Lesser said about this King Froggie/Toadie the badder! ~~YL, Desi

Here's latest from toffeesturn.blogspot.com; Desi shares his cynicism wrt Perkasa-hand-in-glove with UMNO, also Hindraf's-hands-inglove-with-UMNO. "Hands becausue in the past five years, at least FOUR self-claimed Hindraf leaders separately had marched to pay respects to Najib in Putrajaya -- they came away s-miling broadly with SOMEthin' valuable hidden in the porckets in in their UNDERwhere? -- YL, Desi

UMNO has placed Zulkifli Nordin on an Barisan ticket in Shah Alam, they have given Ibrahim Ali a free passage to fight PAS in Kelantan for them because he is them, Zulkifli Nordin is Ibrahim Alis's deputy the same Zulkifli Nordin who mocked Hinduism and HINDRAF the "HINDU Rights Action Front" is supporting Barisan. Now it begs the question;  Are they genuinely interested in HINDU rights or ...

4 ex-DAP members to contest as Independents in NS
SEREMBAN - Four former DAP members, including Seremban parliamentary seat incumbent John Fernandez, today announced they are contesting as independent candidates in the 13th general election (GE13) on May 5.
Fernandez said he would defend his Seremban parliamentary seat which he won in the last general election after defeating Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Yu Chok Tow with a 3,948-vote majority.
"I will contest in the Seremban parliamentary seat where I have been serving in the last five years and I am also announcing my resignation from DAP effective yesterday," he told reporters in a media conference at a restaurant here.
He said three former DAP members who announced quitting the party recently would be contesting state seats.
They are former Taman Bukit Emas DAP branch chairman S. Vijayan, who will stand in Bukit Kepayang, former Nilai Perdana DAP branch vice-chairman S. Rajasheger (Nilai) and ex-Rantau DAP member R. Sasikumar (Temiang).
Fernandez said the action to quit the party and contest as independent candidates was taken as DAP was no longer a multi-racial party and was marginalising the Indian community as Indian leaders in the party were not named as GE13 candidates.
He said it was also to give DAP a run for its money in its stronghold in Seremban and he hoped voters would choose the right leaders.
The Seremban parliamentary constituency has six state seats in which the DAP won three -- Nilai, Lobak and Temiang -- while PKR won two (Sikamat and Ampangan), and BN only held Lenggeng.
Accompanying Fernandez and his partners contesting as independent candidates are two more independent candidates, lawyer S. Karthigesan, standing in the Senawang state constituency and businessman S. Daniel, in Port Dickson. All of them today took and filled their candidate forms for 13GE.

Muhyiddin: Anwar lacks charisma

TUARAN (April 18, 2013): Sabahans have been urged to reject the opposition because its leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim lacks charisma to lead the country.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Anwar lied when he claimed that the opposition would takeover states under Barisan Nasional (BN) rule including Sabah.
He described Anwar as a big liar for saying he could attract BN members of parliament to support him and form the government on Sept 16, 2008.
"Anwar likes to boast about changing the government and came to Tuaran to deceive Sabahans. He only wants to become the Prime Minister in Putrajaya," he said at a meet-the-people session here last night

DESI: It's common to see journalists, both local and international, in writing about the PM-in-waiting DS Anwar Ibrahim using the adjective "CHARISMATIC" to describe him, and GE ceramah by Pakatan Rakyat esp by PKR which he leads would feature him AS THE LAST SPEAKER. WHY?
For the simple reason that ANWAR is a GOoD orator, and his charisma would hold the audience spellbound for easily an hour.

Mr Mooyiddin, have you ever been able to speak proper Queen's English at international fora. And just in case you do not know, "fora" is the plural form for "forum" and not some pretty flowers from Johor OK!

And encik moo2, what's so wrong for the Opposition Leader to want to become the Prime Minister? Your stupidity wrt to: "... He only wants to become the Prime Minister in Putrajaya,"  SHOWS! ~~ Desi, knottyaSsusual
