DEATH OF COMMON SENSE
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
Common Sense will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in, out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn’t always fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
Common Sense’s health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a Sin Chew journalist arrested for her safety, a Malaysia Today blogger detained as his knowledge on Islam is above the common masses and the weapon called sodomy was used upon the “enemy.”
Common Sense lost ground when justice realized two years later that a political scientist never committed any crime.
Common Sense lost the will to live when Christians cannot use the word Allah and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when someone couldn’t defend himself from a burglar in his own home and the burglar can sue him for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live when a husband cannot have sex with his wife under the order of JAKIM.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.
He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I’m A Victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
REST IN PEACE, COMMON SENSE

Syed Hamid opened the door of his BMW, when suddenly a car driven by Raja Petra came along and hit the door, ripping it off completely. When the police chief, Ismail Omar arrived at the scene, Syed Hamid was complaining bitterly about the damage to his precious BMW.
“Ismail, look what Raja Petra has done to my BMW!!!”, he whined.
“You ministers are so materialistic, you make me sick!!!” retorted Ismail Omar,
“You’re so worried about your stupid BMW, that you didn’t even notice that your left arm was ripped off!!!”
“Oh my gooood….”, replied Hamid, finally noticing the bloody left shoulder where his arm once was, “Where’s my Rolex???!!!
