An xxceptional look at Altantuya's case

Since the high profile murder case trail involving Mongolian beauty Altantuya began some two weeks ago, Desi has not once carried any Post on it. I have read many Posts -- even before the trial started, some by so-called ex-journalists! -- and most would have breached the Sub-judice rule if only the authorities have had the time to bother. Luckily, especially for some smarAleck commenters at certain weblogs, there is no register for Loyar Buluks, charging half-price for their elegant courtly services! -- otherVice, Malaysia would be swamped.

Today I make an XXcetion to carrying a commentary on the case -- only because I believe the Commenter, having served as a former deputy Prime Minister, and also having a coterie of legal advisers -- must know something more than the average person like Desi...
Well, it's knot all altruism at work hear! I am betting sext when I visit Section 14, PJ, Nik Nazmi would buy me the nice Rojak. Saves on three or five ringgit, depending on how angry, or hungry, I am:). I promise I'd buy my own tehtarik -- my poor writHer's budget always allows for IT! A journo's brew -- cn leave home without It! In fact, can't live without IT!:):)

Lastly, the media statements on PKR get flagged off regularly at Desi's Place as a Community Service because I am a PKR-card-carrying member. I need to inform my regular Readers this fact as I hold them in high esteem and I don't wish them to have any doubts as where I stand in political leanings and affiliations. But as I advocate, we can banter and debate with comers of ALL political and non-political persuasions, in thes spirit pronounced by VOLTAIRE: I may disagree with what you say but I will defend, to the death, your right to say it."

PERKEMBANGAN TERBARU KES PEMBUNUHAN ALTANTUYA

THE LATEST TWISTS IN THE ALTANTUYA MURDER TRIAL

The latest twists that have emerged in the murder trial of Altantuya Sharibu have raised further questions on the integrity of the entire trial.

Just as the prosecution made an application to impeach their own key witness Lance Corporal Rohaniza Roslan, today Rohaniza made a surprising revelation that she has been threatened to be shot dead should she testify in Altantuya's trial.

Previously, one of the defence lawyers of the accused had discharged himself due to third party interference.

The developments have only fuelled further rumours of the involvement of important personalities in the case, while Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak has reverted to his elegant silence on the case in spite of the fact that his associate and bodyguards charged with the murder as well as the claim by one of the witnesses on the existence of a photography of Altantuya and a government official that shares the same name with him.

I have repeatedly demanded the authorities to act immediately and effectively to preserve the credibility of the entire trial process as the professionalism and competence of the police and the Attorney General's Chambers is on trial, yet they have failed to do so. This is a chance to restore the image of our country, yet why are the authorities adamant at squandering it at every opportunity?

Today this blogger whom I first interacted with and him IDed as "MWT" (hope I'm not mistaken!:) has a good analysis of a FAKE PHOTO of a trio having a tete-at-tete, causing much ruckus over blogosphere, methinks. Blogging can be FUN-d!
