ELECTION WATCH (25): Sound the Reformasi Celebration of Joy

PS: THE DAY AFTER.

It was indeed cause for Celebration. Well deserved for the believers, but to all the PKR victors, CONGRATS, but jest a reminder hear! lots of hard work is ahead. Be humble in triumph, and ensure the Rakyat's trust for the next four to five years is justified.

As for the Prime Minister, CONGRATS too for accepting "defeat" in five States with Grace. And ordering the Police Chief to disallow any victory parades. It's time for quiet reflection for the fallen. And let the Victors not be cocky like the ones twho preceded them in power in SELANGOR, PERAK, KEDAH and PENANG. And to caretaker Nik Aziz as MB-Kelantan, salutations for leading by example for being a People's State CEO. There is much PKR and DAP can learn from thy humble self.

A parting shot to the likes of Zam, Zakaria and their ilk: YOU ARE NO LONGER SAFE OR SECURE, but thou may remain prosperous in thy small houses of RM7-10million till the real Tsunami swamps over ye, yeah, yeah!...

Meanwhile, to those who have laboured and continue to labour hard in the belief it's TIME FOR CHANGE,
three pats on thy back on behalf of CPI's Dr Lim TG and Desi, and endless rounds of tehtarik, especially the many brigades of backroom boys and girls who represent the FUTURE BEACONS OF AND FOR CONSTANT CHANGE.

Charge it to de Light Brigade, or badder steal,
to Sdr Din Merican and his merry band hard/heART et labor behind the scenario.
GODbless!:)

May the Almighty, however you deem Him to be, continue to guide and enpower the GOoD people. ~~ Amen/Amin

Great post Desi, wise words, and sound advice.

The people have spoken.

Congratulations to each and every person who has contributed to the defeat of the BN's autocratic arrogance in whatever way, each and every little bit helps.

A great people-centric victory was witnessed overnight.

I can't believe I stayed glued to the TV until 4am and those gutless ppl dare not reveal the true picture to the Rakyat!! In the end, they just pack up and leave with tails btw their legs.

I'm now suffering from massive hangover after gulping down cups of caffeine and maggi-mee to stay awake.

But it was worth it!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed on Anwar's next move. Will he live up to the promises and expectations of the voters? Will Barisan Rakyat humbly accept the challenge and work twds greater success in the next GE?

Lol. Like AM, I kept refreshing Malaysiakini (although the time difference meant I had to stay home on a Sat night!) I'm glad how things turn out. Hope it's all for the best!
