PKR people's frontline fighter they call Che'GuBard (Badrul Hisham Sharin) today substantiated his claims that the Rembau Parliament (131) seat was stolen by his opponent from BN, Khairy Jamaluddin aka de SIL.
At a well-attended press conference at the Chinese Assembly Hall, KL, this morning Badrul reported that the son-in-law of the PM misused the Government facilities in Rembau to mount what was blatanly an "expensive" election campaign. Imagine that the District Officer was also the Director of BN campaign, he added.
He stated that there was widespread sabotage of PKR's election billboards and posters and flags, including many thefts of the flags being stolen. In fact several billboards were "pulled up lock, stock and barrel", Badrul said. "One large billboard was burnt during the campaign period."
The most glaring ground for complaint was that at several polling stations, when PKR polling agents asked for copies of Form 14 (which gives breakdown of ballots given out, the voting for each candidate and spoilt votes), they were surprised to be told by the Elections Commission officers-on-duty they had run short of the Forms 14, Badrul stated.
Also, many of my workers were barred from entering certain kampong to campaign, with alleged "gangsters" obviously using threatening tactics to stop PKR supporters from promoting their PKR candidate to the electorate. Badrul said he and his wrokers had lodged several police reports.
The Gerak movement (an youth anti-corruption NGO of which Badrul was among the founders) and the Parti Mahasiswa Negara membvesr who came to Rembau to promote their messages were also barred from accessing the villages, with again thuiggish behaviour by so-called UMNO supporters, Badrul reported.
Badrul reported that on March 8 night, sms-es received from his Polling agents showed he was leading by several hundred votes, which did not pan out later with the 4,000-lus margin won by the SIL. There was something fishy and dirty going one, he added.
He would be consulting his lwayer if there would be a case to proceed with an Election Petition, Che'Gubard said.
Commenting on the tremendous upsets and rejection of the BN candidates in GE2009, resulting in the fall of five sates to PKR-DAP-PAS loose opposition alliance, Badrul said tghis showed the people's anger towards Datuk Abdullah Ahmad Badawi just four years after his premierhip, working hand-in-glove with an arrogant son-in-law. This widespread rejection of the BN reflected the anti-dynasty culture they were engendering in UMNO, and the PM must be held responsible for this massive "wind of change" demonstrated by the electorate, Badrul said.

The ppl of UMNO & Pak Lah are still in denial - they refuse to accept that KJ is as much a hated figure as Zam Zam and his hanging around the corridors of power will bring the final nail down on the coffin.
Denial is one thing, Anak Merdeka, corruption and arrogance is another. They people will do anything to keep themselves in power, because after 50 years, it is all that they know.
They cannot survive without being able to be in a position where they can trade favors or oppress those who stand against them.
They call our premier a sleepyhead, but to me he isn't so much losing touch of the people as he is purposely trying to manipulate the circumstances surrounding him to his own advantage.
Granted, he doesn't do such a good job at it, but let us not confuse incompetence with denial.
