Don't deal! This is NO poker game!

I surfed to AnakMerdeka's post today and was whisked away to The Star's report on a potentially "wrong" move by PKR on principles, so here's my 3sen wroth!

Arumugam’s terms

SUNGAI PETANI: Independent candidate V. Arumugam, who won the Bukit Selambau state seat, will join PKR if the newly formed Kedah government agrees to appoint him a state executive councillor.

“I will do that in the interest of the Indian community and the people who voted for me.

“I have been approached by PKR but I have to wait for further developments,” he said.

Arumugam, 54, who left his job as trainer at the aircraft engineering section of the RMAF in Alor Star to contest the seat, defeated MIC’s S. Krishnan.

PKR’s Johari Abdul, who won the Sungai Petani parliamentary seat, said he welcomed Arumugam to join the PKR.

DESIDERATA: "Independent candidate V. Arumugam, who won the Bukit Selambau state seat, will join PKR if the newly formed Kedah government agrees to appoint him a state executive councillor." THIS DEMAND BY ARUMUGAM WORRIES ME AS A PKR MEMBER.

Who the hell is this idiot making demands?

Just as I abhor turncoats like Tiger Lee, Khoo Seng Hock and Lim Fui Meng, who were elected standing on DAP tickets for the NS State Assembly, then "jumped ship" to the MCA, I would NOT like to see PKR enticing any "Independent" such as Arumugam.

PKR should ask any SA elected on another platform to vacate his/her seat to re-contest -- in line with an example honourably set by Sharir Samad as MP for Johor Bharu elected on UMNO ticket, which he vacated once when he left UMNO, re-contested as an Independent and won it again!

If Arumugam is NOT as bold as Sharir, then on principle, PKR should not take him in. Ask him to go "FLY A KITE"!
GENERAL ELECTIONS ARE NOT A POKER GAME when the House can deal and the Players try his/her luck at getting a double Ace. Ask Arumugam to go visit Genting Highlands instead.

At least Hindraf has DAP to backup so they ask for a post for Deputy CM/deputy MB. And his sole voice are not even backed by anyone. Even getting NGO representative is better than having this bugger.

I am wary of Hindraf forbeing "one-issue" struggle.Yes, they did help to bring the winds of CHANGE, but VVe must not fall into the dark tunnel of single isu fighters -- can be dangeorus for nation building. Go PKR way OR DESIfoolOFerrta-sway!:)
