I believe the substance of this STAR's report...

WHICH IS A VERY RARE OCCASION!

From The Star Online:

Ahmad Sarbani would never take a bribe, says family

Reports by LOURDES CHARLES, NELSON BENJAMIN, FLORENCE A. SAMY, TEH ENG HOCK, LESTER KONG, YUEN MEIKENG, STEVEN DANIEL and AUSTIN CAMOENS

PETALING JAYA: Family members of late Selangor Customs Department assistant director Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed do not believe that the deceased was corrupt.

His younger brother Hassan, 53, said Ahmad Sarbani was a respectable man who would never have taken a bribe.

“My brother was a hardworking and responsible person. We do not believe he was corrupt,” he said when met at the Customs Department quarters in Kelana Jaya yesterday.

He said that Ahmad Sarbani, the eldest of eight siblings, was a happy-go-lucky, friendly and caring person.

Hassan said he and his family were deeply saddened by reports in several dailies claiming that his brother was corrupt.

“Just look at how he lived. Certain media reports claimed he was involved in money laundering and corruption. Then why did he stay at the Customs quarters if he had so much money?” he said.

Hassan also hoped that the media would allow his family to grieve in private.

DESIDERATA:

That Ahmad Sarbani rode a motor-cycle to the MACC showed he was a humble man, not inclined to drive the latest model of an imported car which is quite the norm of civil servants who have reached a "senior" rank close to Ahmad Sarbani's.

I too believe that PM Najib Razak was too quick to take the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) head's word that Ahmad Sarbani went to the MACC office voluntarily to make an amendment to a statement he had given to the MACC a few days earlier.

At 8.36AM in the morning? Voluntary?

You think Ahmad Sarbani would want to see more of his interrogators' faces, smiling eh?

Najib and the MACC owe the family of the late Ahmad Sarbani's family AN APOLOGY IF THERE HAD BEEN ANY PERCEPTION CREATED IN THE PUBLIC MIND THAT AHMAD SARBANI HAD COMMITTED "SUICIDE" FLOWING FROM ANY STATEMENT MADE BY ANY MACC OFFICIAL.

Desi believes that at the tremendous sacrifice of an innocent Malaysian life, there has been DIVINE INTERVENTION to throw more light on Teoh Beng Hock's case because if anyone recalled, in the very early days of TBH's death at the MACC SElangor Hq, the top officers ordered an investigation into Teoh's death based on suspicion of that young man taking his own life. YES -- A PRESUMPTION OF "SUICIDE" WHICH IS PREJUDICIAL TO ANY INVESIGATION!

Now how would MACC explain Ahmad Sarbani's death?

I thank God, or Allah to the late Ahmad Sarbani's family, for the mysterious ways Justice in Malaysia moves.
May God, however you deem Him to be, rest Ahmad Sarbani's soul in Heaven. May God/Allah be always shedding light, protection and forebearance on the family he left behind.

May God bless the GOoD people of Malaysia, and condemn those evil-doers who lurk in the darkest nook and cranny in high and dark places. ~~ Amen/Amin
