Another juvenile ridiculous idealistic thoughts, cooked up from his nite dreams, by RPK on independent candidates.
The parliament is in disrepair because of bn, according to RPK today. That is why we need to change govt – our No1 priority. Just because of parliament is in need of repair or presence of clowns in parliament , we throw out the present parliament procedures and reinvent another power centre, like London mclm NGO? That is ridiculous.
Where the centre of power going to be? Parliament or some idiotic group of Ngo without mandate ? There is NO such arrangement in the developed world, including England/USA/Australia, where Ngo sets the standard for the parliament or congress. If the rules need to be fixed, you fix it from the INSIDE with authorized party/parliament rules within political consideration. It may be slow but we just have to accept it.
Assuming there are parallel systems in this department, parliament and fairy London Ngo power centre, there will be MANY2x questions by the dreamer Ngo and the MP. Who are the people who set the rules in Ngo? What if both major parties bn and PR disagree with so-called standards and bills, but insisted by the rakyat through this Ngo. Then what? Who has the final prerogatives? If the rakyat want minimum 5% tax policy through Ngo, it must stamped by the parliament? Why would both major parties surrender their power to this fairy Ngo to its own party demise, as the party power is being compromised?
It is easy to put them on paper these so-called rules, but in practice, it will be NIGHTMARE in implementation with parallel systems. The London dreamer is inventing a NEW wheel that has NEVER been tested in the very long history of the developed democracies. Surely, these MPs and leaders in his matured nations are not as dumb as this dreamer London man
Yes, it is this too much to ask for. Yes, it is an unreasonable request. Yes, the voters interest has more bearings in a properly functioning parliament, most likely under PR Federal govt, but not 100% or/and all the time. If you want to change or enforce the rules in parliament, then join a party. These are the rules we have to live with.
EVEREY minute we talk about this is EVERY minute we have diverted the focus away from the failures of the bn govt. And the London dreamer, so far away from the centre of action, is mainly responsible for this diversion, and potentially decreasing the chances of Pakatan for change of govt. He should be very ashamed for denying the rakyat the No 1 objective through his fairy garden path that he is leading the blind into.
