Beware the Ides of March

My Blue H'aven was born four years ago.
Swept in by Shakespearean words amidst dark clouds of low ambitions
An aching writer's burden such
Must let go of caution and partake on Malaysianatemptations

Malaysia's enmeshed in intrigue
Of actors -- political knaves and masters
Engaged in debauchery
Of a nation's blessed resources
Ah, NegaraKu is Bolehland unique
Masquerading as human endeavours worthy of a nation's recognition
Lofty plaques of honourable mentions in the nama of meritocracy

But no one from the international arena has even
Heard of a Nobel laureatte from Malaysia

We paint visionary roadmaps
Striken across the Puterajaya skyline
And when lightning opens up the skies

It rains prancing monkeys and leaping frogs
And mousedeer waching from the deforsted terrain
Of mimicking ministers who mouth human wisdom
Borrowing from cavemen's sounds and animal
Noises

Yes, it's times of change
Four years after one Ides of March
And I still don't know
If Malaysia does have a national roadmap
And a functional Parliament and State legislatures

Whilst the actors, politicians and knaves
Continue their acts of mini zoo residents
Monkeying around

While the skies open up
raining cats and dogs
monkeys and frogs.
Sons of actirs, politicaisn and knaves...
Clowns and Toadies too.

Just get of their way
Lest they knock you off the mindscape
And bury you on an Ides of March
Seven days AFTER THE FATEFUL MARCH THE EIGHT
A nation steeped in a tradition of mediocrity
And the Leaders proclaim pride of Vict'ry
"Ours in a success story!"
