DESIDERATA: When I first sighted the source, the article named "RT", and my cheeky reaction was thinking allowed: Since when has RukunTetangga ventured into political posturing? Or is Bowie a Mercenary for Hire balls-carrying the present regime for BIG bucks?

I will just share that I read the piece once over, and these characters stood out as commenters used by RT.

Dr Chandra Muzaffar, that pseudo intellectual who was once Aliran=Chandra and Chandra=Aliran; then he evolved into present Just=Chandra, Chandra=Just. (I wouldn't want to elaborate on why I deem him pseudo; those who have heard him from days of yore would know the TRANSFORMTION by RM... that that party which rimes with Oh! No! is famous for. Someone who elicits the same reaction from Desi but not as an intellectual but a representative-of-the-Chinese Government spokesman is the great Lee Lam Thye, now Tan Si-cum-Loctor somemore. Minta maaf I digress!:(

Right from the start, Nile Bowie has overtly shifted his alignment towards the current government. Bringing the pseudo political scientist Chandra Mustapha into the picture and portraying him as a believable pro-government 'political scientist' as well as rudely disarming Ambiga in her honorable efforts to seek a clean and fair elections further discredits Nile's posting. Probably another foreign 'professional' writer recruited by the current government in her concerted efforts to influence readers over to their side. Who is Nile by the way? Does anybody know? Hope this fellow is not Jewish like the Agency employed by the government previously to enchance her local and international image. That would certainly be another bad mistake by this failing but arrogant and corrupt government. Haha. "

PS: The article's LAST LINE is a revealing self-righteous dismissal of BERSIH2.0 chairperson, Ambiga Sreneevasan, and I quote this Bowie: "As elections loom, Ambiga is already dubbing them "the dirtiest elections ever seen" -- unsurprising rhetoric from a woman being handed her talking points by the US embassy."

WHO THE BLARDY F**Ks is this BOWIE to disparage a well-esteemed social activist whose leadership of BERSIH has educated hundreds if not thousands of Malaysians to be well informed of their rights, BRAVE ENOUGH TO FACE OFF WITH THE WATER CANNONS AND TEAR-GAS of the Oh-No party's lap dogs who dared call themselves "Royal" police personnel?
