Raja Petra by his own admission is someone who promotes lawlessness in society *(Malaysia mainly, perhaps other countries he also resides in, UK, which in the latter, is none of my business; when it relates NegaraKu, and his anarchy "disturbs" me or my party (Parti Keadialn Rakyat), I often would rebut his views, hence I engaged him in NO LESS THAN 3 FACE-OFFS, during which I had called him twice "A LIAR AND A COWARD".

Once he declared he is an anarchist IN HIS WEBSITE MALAYSIATODAY.NET, i DECIDED i would not engage him IN
PUBLIC DISCOURSE BECAUSE HE DOESN'T ABIDE BY THE RULES OF CIVIL SOCIETY DISCOURSE. aN OUTRSTANDING TRAIT OF HIS IS TO CREATION HAFL-TRUTHS, OUTRIGHT LIES AND SPIN FICTION TO COUNTER HIS ENEMIES, INCLUDING THIS WRITER.

Raja Petra: PKR leader ordered cover-up of graft

ALLEGATIONS ON BLOG: 'Retired MACC officer had evidence that man's former aide was living beyond his means'

raja petra

KUALA LUMPUR: CONTROVERSIAL blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin has revealed that a senior Parti Keadilan Rakyat leader   had allegedly ordered a cover-up of evidence of corruption by his former political secretary.
Raja Petra said the fresh allegations surfaced after a meeting with a retired Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer last month.
The political secretary, however, has described the corruption allegation against him as mere slander.
In reply to a tweet, he tweeted in Malay last nighi: "Persetankan mereka. Nabi Musa dan Nabi Yusuf juga difitnah. Saya manusia kerdil. Pohon kekuatan dari Allah SWT" ("Be damned to them. Even prophets Moses and Joseph have been vilified. I am just a small person. Pray to Allah for strength").
In a blog posted on Malaysia Today, Raja Petra wrote that according to the retired officer, the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) had, 17 years ago, gathered enough evidence against the said former political secretary for corruption involving millions of ringgit.
ACA became MACC in January 2009.
In the blog post, Raja Petra wrote that the said PKR leader had subsequently instructed the ACA to classify the case as NFA (no further action).
Raja Petra claimed that the officer, when met, had handed him a thick file containing hundreds of documents, including police and investigation reports, accounts and bank statements as well as contract notes, which were extremely damaging to both of them.
A full statement by the officer, included on the blog, said that the said former secretary's declaration of assets in 1995 had been excessive enough to warrant an investigation by the ACA.
He alleged that the former political secretary had, between 1991 and 1995, owned four cars, including a BMW, several shares and a home in Taman Melawati, all on a meagre salary.
An investigation was subsequently opened by the ACA on the former political secretary and his wife in 1995.
It focused on the possession of a lot of personal properties that, when combined, revealed debts that were more than double his supposed monthly salary.
The investigating officer at the time was allegedly ordered not to seek a proper Notice of Declaration of Assets from him, he said.
"In normal circumstances, he would certainly have been detained by the ACA for further investigations.
"However, they made him declare his assets on a voluntary basis, which meant he was not bound for any criminal prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Penal Code if the public prosecutor was satisfied with how he acquired his excessive property," he was quoted as saying.
According to him, the case was allegedly buried soon after on the PKR leader's instructions.
Attempts by New Straits Times to contact the senior PKR leader and his former political secretary were, however, unsuccessful.
