YES, because crazy times call for crazy reactions, and if you must know, DEsi has not gone cuckoo. I am just demonstrating the famous NEWTON'S THIRD LAW:
TO every Action, there is an Opposite and Equal Reaction.

Why I say Malaysia Is Moving Towards the Abyss...
The Impending Unravelling of IMDB could lead towards the UNRAVELLING OF NAJIB RAZAK, described by many quarters as the "weakest PM" Negaraku ever had, including by none-other-than Dr Mahathir Mohamad -- love or hate hime PM who ruled Malaysia for 22 years, no joke! As a journalist-blogger for past 10 years, Desi takes Mahathir seriously, at least he quotes Shakespeare occasionally! Mahathir's nemesis now in-jail-on-trumped-up-sodomy-charges second time around, Sdr Anwar Ibrahim -- also quotes Shakespeare often enough, more than the good doctor around the Putajaya house!
Now the Opposition Leader once oppressed by Mahathir, continues to be persecuted by the current UMNO regime, but Anwar's salvation may come from a surprising quarter -- from the infighting within UMNO. The almigthy Vitamin M may save Najib from the EGM called by his "bodeking" division heads/supporters for tomorrow, but the looming national crisis brought on by the falling world oil prices, (and casuing Petronas to report its first loss of some RM8billion in the closing quarter of 2014), and the concurrent dwindling ringgit excahnge rate, is now compunded further by the UNRAVELLING OF THRE FIVE-YEAR OLD 1MALAYSIA DEVELOPMENT BERHAD.
PLease also NOTE that this FOURTH PART OF"Why I say Malaysia Is Moving Towards the Abyss... IV" WILL serve as the CONCLUSION OF THE SERIES AND IS still a piece in progress ok!. later, IF THERE is a need to re-open the case, DESi will start a CHapter 2, cun?! -- Digressing another byte, like I would like TO RE-OPEN the ALTantuya and DS ANwar IBRAhim's SOdomy2 cases -- BUT THAT WILL BE ANOTHER LONG STORY FOR LATER! -- AND we as responsible CITIZENS WILL Have to rise up to MAKE IT HAPPEN, K!
******************************************
AND playing a ROLE in this UNRAVELLING Is that ""Lucky Country" with which I have a special Connection -- AUSTRALIA.
Malaysia could have been another Lucky Country BUT wan CLUELESS ONE, or should it be ONe Clueless Wan -- You Decide, lnot me to De.Side! -- he has turned it to MalSia.
Helping the nation at this critical time is a former PRIME MINISTER -- Love him OR HAte him! -- Dr M AHATHIR MOHAMAD, thank God/Allah for his LONG life!
DEsi bought a print copy of The Malay Mail for RM1.00 this morn, PAGE 3 is newsy -- you wanna borrow, pay AUS$1 ofr it!:)~~~~which LED DESI TO lian; luckily malaysiakini.com carried IT!
Report: Dr M now urges foreign intervention to oust Najib
In an ironic twist, former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad has reportedly called for international intervention to help "oust" Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
The Australian today noted the "extraordinary about-face for the famously nationalistic 91-year-old" well-known for rejecting foreign interference in Malaysia's politics during his lengthy administration.
“Normally I don’t like foreign interference in Malaysian affairs but our avenues for redress have been closed completely (both within the party and through draconian laws now used to intimidate critics),” he was reported saying.
He was speaking to the Australian daily's weekend magazine The Weekend Australian in an interview at his office in Putrajaya.
Mahathir said he had little hope Najib would step down without external pressure.
“So now we have to allow foreign interference in our domestic affairs.
"If it is legal, legitimate, yes. If they have information, they should give information," he said.
He added authorities abroad should not stop probing money laundering even if investigations involve the prime minister.
Australia's silence slammed
The ex-Umno veteran and long time party chief also criticised the Australian government's indifference to the scandals rocking Malaysia.
“The Australian government doesn’t seem to want to annoy the Malaysian prime minister," he was reported saying.
“The (Australian) media has exposed a lot of things but the government is strangely very, very quiet.
"I suppose if you have personal relations with someone, until you are provoked, you are going to leave it up to other people.”
He also slammed ANZ for being coy about the 1MDB scandal with regards to AmBank, which the Australian bank is a big shareholder.
“People are asking why ANZ, a big shareholder in AmBank, has not reported anything and not responded to any inquiry.
"I think the government should at least tell the ANZ Bank to explain why it is that they have not (taken action) because there are elements of money laundering in this case.
"And money-laundering is of course a serious crime now.
“The Australian government should want to know what ANZ knows about this deposit in a bank in which ANZ has a big share,” said Mahathir.

DESIDERATA: I too normally wouldn't like OZland to "intervene"(not interfere!...), BUT AS A SAID< CRAZY TIMES CALL FOR CRAZY REACTIONS, and there is a BIG CONNECTION IN THIS CASE, ANZ BANK and 1MDB! Indeed, investigations are indeed going on in several other countries on 1MDB, especially relating to the crime of "MONEY LAUNDERING", which makes it a BORDERLESS ISSUE! YEs, we are living in a BORDERLESS WORLD! -- YL, Desi
PS: FOLLOWING is a Malay Mail Online report; as expected the subservient, bodeking reading from UM-oh-No! script:Multimedia and Com miniSTER SAlleh who? keroaked/bleated!
KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 — Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak has described Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s call for foreign interference in the country’s domestic affairs as an act of desperation.
Salleh said he hoped the former prime minister was not purposely trying to set himself up to get arrested with the aim of gaining public sympathy when he told Australian newspaper The Weekend Australian that there was little hope that Prime Minister Najib Razak would resign without outside pressure.
“This is an alarming new development and I am very surprised that Dr Mahathir should even suggest this.
“Back when Dr Mahathir was the prime minister, if any foreign country or government were to say anything about Malaysia, Dr Mahathir would retaliate and tell them that they have no business interfering in Malaysia’s domestic affairs,” he said in his latest posting on his blog (sskeruak.blogspot.com).
Salleh said during Dr Mahathir’s tenure as prime minister, any local political activists who were working with a foreign government to criticise Malaysia would be detained on grounds of treason.
“He or she would be detained on grounds of treason and of working with foreign powers to bring down the democratically elected government.
“Dr Mahathir is now saying that the end justifies the means and that we must do anything possible just as long as we meet our objectives of bringing down the prime minister outside the constitutional process,” he said.
Salleh added: “No leader will be safe if all we need to do to topple a leader is to invite foreign powers to interfere in the country’s domestic matters.” — Bernama
