Ah, BUM2009 was a huge success by most accounts -- my only Bonus would have been topped up if only some 20people who regsitered online had turned up (with RM60 in tow!) so that my worries on the financial front (imposed on the CPI!) would cause less Einstein-like hair from falling ... by natural law of gravitas. But the three lambs courtesy of LVC maketh up for Warren Buffet's absence and the 20-odd Bloggers and potential UMmers' absence.
Just sharing some balmy feelings about the Third Outing at de Lake View, which wouldn't have taken place without the constant support of de OC members, roll-called: Rockybru, HelenA, HelenH, Dr Maverick Yeoh, Ancient Mariner, meio3o5, primrose, and Mob1900, and ES SHANKAR aka donPLAYpuks (Desi's AP: omitted first round, but they say, the last birdie in catches the best worm!:); also Adviser to BUM2009, Dr Lim Teck Ghee, also Director, Centre for Policy Initiatives ; and last but not least, and Co-opted OC Sdr YeohLH CPI (Chinese Section).

All said and done, without your leadership and drive, BUM 2009 might not have taken off. Kudos!
Would that Najib sees that backing away from Penanti poses a huge question mark against his leadership.
If every game should be played only from overwhelming winning odds, then what need do we have for a Leader?
Also, I was not offended by my omission, as my actual physical contribution to BUM 2009 was less than 1%.
